Bea Binene could not help but be over the moon as she finally graduated from culinary school after several delays.

The actress shared the milestone and the journey she went through to achieve it, through her Instagram page on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

“I started in 2019, I used to go straight to class from taping, then pandemic happened, then went back to school, then graduated with my batchmates but I still continued to do make-up classes and OJT,” she recalled. “Almost 5 years when it was just a 1-year course.”

“It definitely was not an easy journey. Juggling work-business-school, to learning all the lessons, to all the burns, cuts, sakit ng likod, init sa kusina and all. I realized na hindi ka tatagal unless gusto mo talaga ginagawa mo,” she continued. “Oo mahirap, but it is also a fun and memorable ride.”

Binene expressed her gratitude to those who have been part of her success, underscoring how she gained not only learnings but also friends.

“To my family and loved one, for always supporting me, praying for me, for the never-ending love that you’ve given me. Thank you for trying all the food I cook,” she said.

“I won’t be able to do this without you, our Lord,” she continued. “Thank you for bringing me to where I am today. All these because of You.”

Even prior to taking up a course in culinary arts, Binene had already been baking and selling her pastry creations.
