MANILA, Philippines — Heavy to intense rains are expected in the eastern sections of Luzon and Northern Samar due to the shear line, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysicalstrike33, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.
In its 5 p.m. heavy rainfall outlook on Sunday, Pagasa said heavy to intense rains ranging from 100 to 200 millimeters (mm) may be experienced in Catanduanes from Sunday to Monday afternoon.
